CKLG in the Community
Supporting local people, charities, and organisations across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk
One of our core values at CKLG is to give back to the communities that we work in, and support charities and not-for-profit causes linked with our team.
We have an incredible team at CKLG who are community-minded, charity-focused, enthusiastic fundraisers as well as talented tax and accounting specialists.
Each year, we invite everyone at CKLG to nominate a charity for us to support for the coming year. In addition, we support a number of smaller local initiatives.
In the current economic climate, we are focusing on supporting local families, charities, and community groups.
If you would like to see if we can assist, please contact us.
Our Charity of the Year until December 2025 is a local charity, The Befriending Network.
When we first met Laura we were inspired by the work that her and the team carry out across the region, and the positive impact they have on people’s lives.
The Befriending Network aims to provide companionship to those over 60 who are less mobile and unable to get out and access social interaction.
They have a team of committed and compassionate volunteers who are matched with someone in their local area to either visit or phone regularly.
Befriending builds confidence and a sense of purpose. It is all about the joy of the human connection which we can all relate to!
If you would like to support our fundraising efforts please donate via The Befriending Network’s website here.
