Christmas is a time of giving here at CKLG we have donated various items to our close community:
This festive season we have donated two chocolate bouquets to the Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School PTA for their Christmas Fayre, donated a hamper to Castle Camps Primary School raffle to fundraise for school equipment, donated a hamper for the Christmas raffle at the Paddocks Primary School in Newmarket to raise money for sports equipment and kit and donated two Christmas presents to the Ely Baby Bank.
In addition to community donations, we have also decided that this year instead of participating in our usual secret Santa gift exchange, all staff members will be making a £10 donation to our chosen charity of the year, The Royal Papworth Hospital.
The Royal Papworth Hospital was nominated as our charity of the year after one of our colleague’s husbands received life-saving treatment at the hospital.
