We have the following vacancies:

Business Services Executive, Cambridge – Starting January 2016 - Permanent 

We are looking for an ACCA/ACA qualified individual or qualified by experience to become a permanent addition to our team.

The split of the work would approximate to 50% statutory audit with balance of time spent on preparing non-audit statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, R&D tax relief calculations, and providing support and advice to clients.

The successful applicant will need to be confident in dealing face to face with clients as well as be able to act as audit senior and oversee and help train junior members of staff, as necessary, whilst out on audit as well as in the office.

The following skills are most preferable:

• Experience in leading audit teams on site
• Acting as audit senior on company audits with companies of turnover circa £10M
• Development of junior staff

The following skills are most desirable but not essential as full training will be provided;

• Prepare statutory accounts manager review
• Prepare corporation tax computations for manager review
• Prepare consolidated group accounts
• Group tax planning
• R&D tax relief calculations

Reporting to our business services managers, the successful applicant should have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of written and oral interaction with the clients and other team members within the Business Services team.

Graduate Trainee

We are looking for a graduate trainee to become a permanent addition to our team.

We are offering the opportunity to gain dual qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CIOT) over a three year training period.

As a recognised ACA training office, we offer full study support and relevant practical experience enabling you to gain your professional qualifications.

The successful applicant should have a strong academic background. They should be personable, and be able to demonstrate high level written and oral communication skills as well as being a strong team player.

Salary: market rate plus full study support
